Register with the New Mexico Board of Barber and Cosmetology and submit the required registration fee of $25.00 (non-refundable)

Education is provided through a sequential set of learning steps which address specific tasks necessary for state board preparation, graduation, and job entry-level skills. Clinic equipment, implements and products are comparable to those used in the industry and each student will receive instruction that relates to the performance of useful, creative, and productive career-orientated activities. The course is presented through well developed lesson plans which refelt current educational methods. Subjects are presented by means of lecture, demonstration, and student participation. Audio-visual aids, guest speakers, field trips and other related learning methods are also used on the course.

• Sterilization, Sanitation, Bacteriology
• Shampoo, Rinse, Scalp Treatments

• Hairstyling
• Hair Coloring- Bleaching
• Hair Cutting
• Facials
• Salon Business, Retail Sales

• Successful completion of all phases of study, required tests, practical projects and clinic assignments
• Completion of all course of study as required by the State Board of Barbers and cosmetologist
• Pass the final written and practical exam
• Complete all required exit paper work and attend an exit interview
• Pay NIC exam fees (not covered in tuition)
• Satisfaction of  all debts to the Beauty College of Eddy County LLC

• Complete ALL graduation requirements
• Successfully pass the National-Interstate Council of State Board Cosmetology (NIC) theory & practical exam 
• Successfully complete and pass State Law exam
